A Brief History of Concord

Concord is one of the original Washington 'villages' (the New Town's neighbourhoods were named for places, people and concepts) and developed rapidly during the 1960s and 70s as Washington New Town was built out. It sits to the north of the original Washington village, close to the Galleries shopping centre and the Bowes Railway industrial heritage site.

For the booking process we always: confirm the quote in writing by email, agree a date and a morning/afternoon time slot, send a courtesy text on the morning of the job if requested, dust-sheet floors and protect furniture, leave the work area cleaner than we found it, and collect payment only when you are happy with the finished work. Card, bank transfer and cash are all welcome. VAT receipts are available for landlord and business customers.
